I an on figuring out the live stream...not sure I get the channel on Verizon Fios for it. There is a streaming service as well but not going to pay. I believe it was on YT last year? Regardless I'm pulling for Ryan Cheek Racing and their American X Kart...open wheel buggy deal powered by a turbo'd Suzuki GSXR engine. They had a lot of issues in qualifying and practice but hope it will make it to the top today...I like her story.

Cool, I will have to watch. Of course it's not as awesome now that the way up is fully paved, it was really fun to watch the cars navigate both the dirt and pavement. I'm glad I drove a rental Miata up to the top prior to the pavement, it wheezed it's way up, near full throttle at the top, 15mph.

I do it several times a year.
But your cooling system better be top notch. And when I say top notch, I really mean no one weak part.
Oh man, I would have thought that you would mention brakes.

I have driven the following:

2006 Honda Odyssey - 2011
2020 Hyundai Elantra - rental
2008 Toyota Corolla S - most recent

didn't see any cooling issues but my 2008 Corolla is in great condition, I am planning to go again soon, I will keep an eye out on the digital coolant temperatures to see what the range would be.

All cars in good condition will be ok. What I was referring is that if you have weak spot in coolant system, it will leave you stranded. There is no heat on plant that will make it as challenging to cool off engine as 14,112ft. However, problem is pressure. You are running in coolant system same pressure, but outside pressure is drastically lower. If you ever had bag of Cheetos over mountain pass that is higher than 10,000ft, you would witness bag explosion, bcs. outside pressure got su low. So, if you have weak point in cooling system, think of it as bag of cheetos.

Brakes are an issue for those that don’t downshift. Going down, usually speeds are slow, but still a lot of people are taken off road by rangers at that brake check point. But yeah, it pays off to have relatively fresh brake fluid.

Do they still have the semi truck category? That was wild watching those. I read that they axed several different divisions over the last few years.
