Anyone Use Opera Web Browser?

Noticed that it is PcWorld's pick for the best browser of '04.

Anyone using it? Is it really that much better than Mozilla Firefox (which I'm currently using an really like)?

I'm using it and really like it. I bought the premium version for $39. Since having it I have gotten no popups. I really am not an expert but it is user friendly and I believe it may prove to be better than IE with its endless number of security breaches. Frankly I got tired of that nonsense.

But after 3 weeks I like Opera.

They are both good browsers.

I've used Opera and liked it, but prefer Firefox. My impression is that Firefox has fewer problems with websites that aren't written to universal standards (it seems it will read more poorly written MS based websites that Opera will).

It also looks like Firefox is being developed at a higher rate the Opera.

If you are using Firefox, I don't see any compelling reason for you to try Opera other than for the sake of trying it.

Been using Opera, free version, for a couple of years.
