Anyone try: Valvoline MaxLife Engine Protector?

I was just at BigLots getting some SLOB and Outlaw Compact oil treatment and I saw like 15 bottles of this stuff. I have never seen it in any auto store I go to. It states

"Maxlife engine protector contains SPECIAL friction modifiers and antiwear agents that form a chemical barrier to protect components againstfurther wear.

*Helps Restore lost compression and reclaim lost horsepower
* Helps protect vital engine components against wear
*Helps maintain cleaner engines

It is on sale for 2.00 a bottle. I grabbed a couple just to research it. It mentions nothing about seal conditioners or anything, just friction modifiers.

I used it in one application, don't know if it helped or harmed anything but I had no issues with its use.

MLEP and VSOT are similar. VSOT seems to have a higher additive concentration and uses a syn.-based carrier.
