Anyone own a 2026 Toyota bZ(4X)?

Look at 2023 Bz with 5k-25k miles or really any EV. Compared to gas they lose a ton of value.
Yea you can get a 2024 Prologue Touring AWD with under 5K miles for under $30K. New that was a $48K car if we look at MSRP. Although mine was far cheaper, under $40K. But still.

Link to actual deal would be nice.

Must add cost of chasing car maybe in California or elsewhere

What drives people to dump those so fast?

Thanks btw
One of my friends is a huge Honda guy. Was heavy into the Compact Sport Car scene in the 90's and 2k's and always owned Honda's exclusively. He bought a Prologue, but once he discovered the underpinnings are from the Equinox EV, he traded it in with less than 3,000 miles. He just couldn't let that go. Sort of like the Supra guys.

I can't speak for those cars, but in general most EVs are in the "early adopter" stage. This can be good for the used buyer. I took a beating in our 2018 Model 3 Mid Range, but whoever got it got a nice car. I forget what I paid; Tesla gave me $21K on the trade for the new car. I think the '18 had low 20K on the clock after 5 years. COVID kept wifey and I at home, not to mention I have a few extra cars for 2 drivers. It was a nice car and I learned a lot about EV ownership.

Technically Blazer EV not Equinox EV but people are funny… the ONLY reason I got it was because it was a GM, I’d never get a Honda.

Weren't prepared for electric?
That's one of the top reasons that people aren't happy with EVs. It's better to get your home charger in first. It turned into an emergency quick when we got our Mach-E. Had to have an L2 plug like right now.

When people ask me about EV ownership, the 1st thing I ask them is, "How ya gonna charge?" You might be surprised at the look on some of their faces...
