If anyone had taken the financial advice of Clevy and his fellow conspiracy theorists here, they would have sold off equities in their retirement accounts and missed out on ~26% gains since then. That's $26k for someone with a $100k nest egg; real damage to a person.

I never saw any of those threads. I just know he gave good advice on oil and wasn't afraid to defend his opinions. That's what I liked about him.
