There's a Liquidation World store 'opening soon' in town. What do these places usually have? I've never heard of them until a few weeks ago.

Lots of junk that appears to be priced cheaply but if you compare, some of it is and some of it ain't.

Lots of odd stuff that did not sell well in retail stores and some scratch and dent. For some reason they always have a ton of cleaning products and toothpaste and old motor oil with about an inch of dust on it. Oh, and a ton of no name or weird name brands you have never seen or want to see.

I read somplace that toothpaste in particular is not a good thing to buy in that type of place. A lot of it comes from 3rd worlkd countries with lower health standards and it's often outdated and can be a health hazard because of that too.

I've been to a couple out here. Lots of stuff bought on closeouts from other businesses. Cleaning products. Clothes. Junk food. Obscure videos. House paint. Three pallets of frozen tortellini. Stuff like that. Most of it is name-brand... the toothpaste I saw was Colgate so I'm pretty sure it wasn't imported from Bratislava.
