I've just came across this. Is this a good ,effective treatment? Please no opinions, just real experiences. Too many people opine. Thanks

I had it done probably 30 years ago, called uvulopalatoplasty The uvula and surrounding soft tissue is trimmed so it doesn't flap like a flag in a strong breeze. Did it decrease my snoring? Maybe a bit but not enough to warrant the recovery agony. I was on liquid, viscuous lidocaine for a week or more. Imagine wolfing down an ounce of tasteless 50W motor oil every three hours. After you can tolerate solid food, jello and crushed bananas for several more days. Great for losing weight.

My advice, get a CPAP.

This is a laser treatment, they DO NOT remove anything. You go in, sit down, open your mouth, they zap you with laser, you go home. No shots, no nothing. This is according to medical videos that I just saw.

alot of these procedures are straight money making "near scams"..
not saying this one is.. but since bitog doesn't dispense medical advice maybe talk to your DR?

I'm saying consulting a ENT will get you a better outcome
Professional Advice on Your best treatment options vs random anecdotes
I'm asking for real life experiences, not ENT advice, as in" How long did it work for YOU", "How many sessions did YOU need?" "Cost?" "Was it worth it?" You get it now?
