Hey everybody. This may be a stupid post, but I'm currently writing a research paper that involves the Toyota production system and after doing some research on the topic where there were mention of how Toyota employees are a key part to the system's success. The articles that I've read made me curious to see if I can get some first hand insight into what it's like to work at a Toyota production line. Is it just like any other job? Are the workers really shown as much appreciation as what I've read, such as team outings, recognition for job well done, management eating lunch in the same area as other workers, etc? Thanks if anyone posts a reply.
