Any reason not to use Valvoline synthetic 75w-90?

I bought four gallons of the stuff when NAPA had it on sale. My Nissan specifies changing front and rear every 20k so I knew I would eventually use it all, God willing.

I really like the flexible squeezable bottles. I think AMSOIL started that but Valvoline offers that now too and it's in stock locally and half the price.

Any reason I shouldn't use the Valvoline gear oil in the front and rear diffs on my 04 Trailblazer? I swear I recently read a thread on here that Valvoline gear oil tested very badly in some testing comparison, so I'm a little hesitant.
I have run ST and Valvoline SS. Two of those times successfully re-doing expensive dealer diff oil changes that caused clear problems!
The dealer(s) showed Mobil HD 80W90 on the R.O. materials line item. Two cars; a Subaru and a Nissan.

If true, the bulk was absolutely horrid, destructive stuff in all ways a gear oil should be good. I am guessing a local bulk supplier had some junk GL-5 to unload either knowingly or unknowingly.

In fact I have a squeeze bag of Valvoline hanging around and ready to go on the Wife's rear end - but the drain plug bung is absent on the redesigned rear diff case! Or let's just say it was not in its usual place below the fill at a quick peek under the vehicle.

Here's the Mega 75w90 Testing thread:

I was going to buy Pennzoil® Platinum® 75W-90 Gear Oil from Menards for $9.99 before rebate but since my local AAP is closing store and everything is 50% off I am contemplating of buying Valvoline squeeze bag instead of Pennzoil bottle. It goes into 2012 Highlander and 11 MDX; GL-5
Valvoline Flex Fill Transmission & Differential Gear Oil: Full Synthetic 75W-90 - $18.99/2=$9.50
Valvoline Extended Protection Flexfill Full Synthetic Gear Oil SAE 75W-90 - $22.99/2=$11.50

What do the Bobs say?

I have been using it in my fords, and especially the PTU's in my police taurus. It comes out as black and burnt as all the other fluids I have used. I have not had any failures. I have had zero issues using it in the rear differentials as well. It is usually 2 or 3 bucks cheaper than mobil 1 which has also worked well for my personally.

Man, the bags make life way easier. But, Amsoil is close to the same price as Valvoline, so there is a major price difference with the bag. I see no evidence that Valvoline is any better than any other major brands, just really good marketing.

I use this or Mobil 1 in my chevy diffs, no problems
I think the Valvoline has more approvals than Mobil 1
