Any micron rating specs on this oil filter? ST8A

Saw a youtube video where they compared this supertech against an ac delco and imo it looked like a pretty good filter compared to the delco.

SuperTech filters show 99% @30u on the box. Both the ST and ACDelco are made by Champ Labs, so probably similar efficiency.

Why would they leak? The ac delco has cotton end caps. I suppose that one would leak

The leaf spring should seal better on the fiber end cap. The ST should have the fiber end caps too unless it's the MP series SuperTech.

It had metal endcaps and the ac delco had the cotton fiber endcaps

If the SuperTech had metal end caps then it was probably the "MP" series, which from what people say here is hard to find at Walmarts these days. Got a link to the video you're referencing? Whip City?
