I’m about to store my truck for a year or so. It is almost at the end of its OCI. Should I change it now or after I take it out of storage? It is a fairly severe oil burner, if it matters.

I've always changed mine right before storage and take it for a good final shakedown. Then add STA-BIL to the tank and cover it with 94 octane and put it to bed.
Has worked perfectly on many cars for many years.
Exactly, and a main reason why I change the oil on all my seasonal OPE and prepare it before I put it away at the end of the season for use the following year.
Yes, definitely change it before storage. I change mine on 2 boat motors and on my Corvette. When you sell it you can use it as part of the sales pitch if needed.
