Is there any additive other than PEA that actually works? If so what are they and who makes them?

Is Shell Nitro V Power+ something other than PEA or is it just their name for PEA?

Looking for a list of additives(and if they work, how they work and who makes them)

The additives are polar substances that are attracted to the (metal) parts of the fuel system and possibly to contaminants in the fuel. They are made up of the polar head, and a hydrocarbon tail (or several of them) that want to mix with other hydrocarbons like fuel and oil. The longer the tail, the higher the viscosity and the less the polarity.

PEA uses nitrogen for the polarity, but other stuff uses oxygen. Oxygen containing molecules are likely more polar, so the attraction is stronger and so is the cleaning effect, but the stuff will burn in the cylinder. PEA is likely not to to burn, so can affect whatever happens next.

Note that ethanol contains oxygen, is polar and as we know has a solvent/cleaning effect.
