Any difference in dielectric grease/ silicone paste?

Came across these two jars of silicone paste/ dielectric grease.

Wondering if they are exactly the same except the label? $1 difference in price.

What are we using it for? @Trav had linked a couple when Mission Silicone was not available.

For all silicone grease/paste not having that available was like the toilet paper hoarding. People paid a lot for a jar.

This was one of the ones he recommended as Mission Replacement.

Mission silicone is back at Amazon, but it’s like $25 per jar. The one listed in post #2 is a good alternative and priced much more reasonably. It’s got a nice creamy texture that I like.

Received both flavors. Label indicates the first ingredient is the same between bottles. Second ingredient may be different. The food grade lubricants second ingredient is Silica ((SiO2), and has a third ingredient of thickeners.

The dielectric grease second ingredient is listed as silicone dioxide.

I am not a chemist so no idea if there is in fact a difference, or games with words.
