Boating/PWC seems to have the same appeal when you're "enjoying yourself". These things were not the issues that they are today when fewer had access to them. Half a dozen gentile 3 martini lunch types out on the lake vs. 350 rowdy types? That's a different deal.

At least they are taking the heat of the motorist who runs over a drunk who falls in front of them.
