This super club looks absolutely fantastic. I have never been to Mancini's, but the pictures and the article suggests Mancini's is a gem.

Anyone been to Mancini's?

Yes - at least 20 years ago. A local / coworker from a long ago job took me.

I remember it being fun, but don't remember much about the food - so the food must have been average.

I vaguely remember the juicy lucy place in North Minneapolis, and a polish place where they still had accordion players also. Anyone know if those still exist?

Thanks for jogging my memory.

Wisconsin has by far the most.and best supper clubs in the U.S.
I’ll give you one we use to hit this one on a weekly basis.
It wasn’t uncommon to have a 2hr wait on a Saturday night it was just more cocktail time for us. It was a place to get big steaks and rest of the menu was pretty awesome you wanted the duck so good but was limited.

Never been to that one but I’ve been to the 5 O’Clock Club, The Butler Inn, and Kurt’s Steakhouse in lake country Wisconsin. Also used to enjoy the Golden Anchor (RIP) on Pewaukee Lake.

Nothing like a few Brandy Old Fashioneds and some fried fish on a Friday.

Never been to Mancini's - though plenty of folks swear by it.

The Juicy Lucy is a South Minneapolis thing - with partisans arguing Matt's Bar vs the 5-8 Club. (I'm a 5-8 Club guy - my grandmother lived near it). Beware the molten hot cheese. And note the spelling - it's a Jucy Lucy at Matt's, a Juicy Lucy at 5-8.

Clicked because I saw St Paul MN.

Its in a part of town I don't ever go towards, but I'll save it in the back of my brain for later if I want to go have a steak + feel the environment.
