Is there any additive out there with just high ppm levels of boron, calcium, and magnesium, and WITHOUT any; moly, ZDDP, titanium, etc.??

I know the Torco SEP is probably the closest to what I'm asking for, but are there any others I'm not aware of??

Thanks in advance,

Dave H.

Do you have some university research or test results that show this trio to be better than what you find in off the shelf major PCMO's?

Hey Molakule , I would like to learn this stuff but don t have any knowledge about chemistry or else , about what does what & why , do you have some links about these , would be appreciated , can send a PM if you want it too .

Thanx MolaKule , appreciate that , their are some knowledgeable members here , so lots of things to learn , I like to read , so I ll have lots of stuff to learn in there , thanx again .

I do not have time to learn everything about everything. I will take the time to research and find a good oil, but not go through every additive and understand why it makes the oil so good.

I know Donald , sometimes I have the time that s why , just curiosity , want to understand different things . But I understand your point .

After trying out 2011 tech level racing oils ...
additives goodbye~
Nothing beats a well formulated and up to date tech level oil by a BIG company.

No, not at all, and I am NOT questioning anyone's knowledge, or expertise (including the formulating tribologists of said "major PCMOs").

Just curious about a TBN boosting, detergent pack type additive (plus boron instead of/inplace of the other 'regular suspect' AWs/FMs) to add to the middle-end of an OCI to replenish it until time to change out completely.
That's ALL.
