Another one almost gone

I saw a wondrous interview one day a few years ago.

Japanese fishing fleets were probing Oz fishing waters, and entering international no-go zones...apparently due to the poor fishing in their legal waters.

Interviewer was asking why fish stocks were depleting in their legal areas.

Apparently it was our fault for not letting them kill whales...the whales are eating all the fish.

('cept the whales are all down here, and around the Antarctic, where they aren't subject to scientific examination of their ovaries before a beneficial re-use of the left over bit).

Hopefully we can kerb ourselves before Soylent Green becomes a reality.

But honestly I worry more about me

Well, some would say that is part of our problem.

You may come to the conclusion one that day that the only person that will ever look after you is you.

Maybe, but that's no reason to think only of yourself.

I just gotta ask, speaking of hunts - who's looking after Troy Gentry?

While I firmly believe that being accused of something doesn't mean you actually did it, if Mr. Gentry did actually buy and kill this tame bear to make himself feel like a big man, he's a swine and deserves a harsher penalty than he's likely to get slapped with.

Funny how fishing stocks were never depleted by whales in all those centuries when whales themselves hadn't been depleted.

Typical laying of blame anywhere other than where it belongs.
