I bought this one for $8.00. It is heavy and well made. Made in China.

For a cabin air filter, I'd be more concerned with filtering ability and how restrictive it is to airflow... than I'd be concerned with a low price.

you are correct, and as a Normie, I really don't have much in the way of keeping any filter-maker honest.....unless I make a "Project Farm"-style box fan test w/dust.

Once I tried Bosch HEPA-grade filters on all the cars----they worked great (I guess) but you could feel that it took longer for the car to get cooler.

the bulk of the world's melt-blown filtration media is made in China. So you'd assume that the random filter company has access to quality inventory at cheap prices.

Just installed a couple ‘Forccord’ cabin filters in the Carnival 😄 both look to be well-constructed and fit great. The rear filter has no name-brand aftermarket alternatives sadly. Fram makes one, but no one carries it. Even the off-brand ones can be harder to find online. Both filters flow the same amount of air as the OEM filters it seems.

I've bought random brand cabin air filters from Temu, made in China.

Never had a problem---they all felt as heavy as OEM and as equally well-constructed.

I doubt that the factory looks like this.....(but you never know, lmao)

Never guessed that First Brands would let someone video in their factories.

But, now I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

We're being infiltrated! It's like the wild west of capitalism. But some of my best deals have been never heard of off brand.
I couldn't agree more! That no-name power steering pump and no-name exhaust on the no-longer-in-this-world Civic I had were more than amazing.. Excellent quality, awesome price!

Yes, you are correct...Crazy times. The cabin air filters I have stocked are a few years old, so I guess the Chinese are getting better at this aftermarket game. Not much being manufactured in USA anymore, so we gotta get stuff from somewhere. I do support USA small business in any way I could. I try to help keep something " Made in USA".

Yup I agree, I'm actually surprised when I see "Made in USA" and smile. But lately the deck is stacked towards how corporations sold out the US for Chinese made stuff. I laugh at people who yell at me for buying something made in China.. When that's the only place it's made now! Glad you have some parts stocked up, I do too, glad I bought a bunch of maintenance parts when it was a much lower price!

Me too. I had stuff stashed prior. But bought more before the prices went thru the roof. Stockpile should last me 4 years, if you catch my drift....Then, hopefully, prices will return to normal. Fingers crossed.
