Android App to Measure Speed, Distance, Acceleration

I've seen some videos where a phone is used to measure acceleration, speed, distance, and other similar things. Does anybody know of such an app for an Android phone? Recommendations? Thanks!

If you have one the ELM-327 OBDII dongles, you might consider Torque Pro

I don't know what a dongle is, so I probably don't have one.

There are apps, for example GPS Race Timer, on the Play Store that allow you to measure acceleration.

The dongle would be a Bluetooth plug-in adaptor for the vehicle's OBD2 port that can be paired with your phone. The Torque Pro app utilizes OBD2 data and displays it.
