Does anyone know how long the lab that Terry uses (not Blackstone) takes to do the analysis once they receive the sample? I mailed my sample a week ago (last Monday morning) via USPS Priority Mail. It should have taken 2-3 days to get from FL do TX. It doesn't look like Terry has received the data yet.

I am just getting impatient here. I should have paid for the delivery confirmation service...

I'm wondering also. They should have had in hand my
sample a week ago. I'm sure they run these thru pretty
fast. I used Oil Analysers Inc. before and did't hear
from them for 2-3 weeks so that may be the norm.

USPS is sloooowwww.

I think the main issue is no one at the USPS want to touch those round containers (going to a lab) now a days.

I think my interpretation from Terry took around 9 or 10 days after I mailed the sample in. But it all probably depends upon Terry's workload and travel schedule, after he receives the data. He may ask the lab to rerun a test too. If you haven't gotten anything after 2 weeks, I'd give Terry a call.

I always mail mine in a small box so the post office wont have a problem, never had a problem like that

I have dropped hundreds of samples off at Analysts. I believe they typically get run the next day. If there is a critical issue they will fax the results pretty quickly, if not they will mail them when they get around to it.

It has taken 5-6 weeks for me to get a UOA from Huntsville, AL to Ft. Wayne, IN before via USPS. The pony has stop every 16 miles for a breather, right?
