I'll give it 2 weeks.

If I ever have something hanging out of my shorts that looks like the creatures from the movie Aliens, the least of my concerns will be jeans.

That's exactly the point. Levis is a fashion icon outside US, and to some "hip" US crowd. People who want a basic jeans buy Wrangler and Lee, not Levis.

In some ways yes, in some ways you are wrong. I'm been wearing basic Levis since I was 5. Not a statement or a hip thing at all. Other jeans just don't fit me right.

You know they sell Levi's 501 for $150-$300 US dollar in foreign countries, right? That's not the made in China $25 jeans, those are real, made in US expensive fashion icon.

Or to those who don't know what crabs are.

501's for me since I was old enough to buy my own clothes, and forever escape the likes of Wrangler, Rustler, Lee, and the dreaded Sears Toughskins..scorned by schoolboys nationwide.

However...

If you know where to buy Levi's still actually made in the US, please clue us in.

501s fit way too tight. I don't want to be looking like a cowboy.

I go with 569s - Loose fit straight leg. More room for the beast. No need to unleash it.
