Has anyone used the Amsoil Polymeric truck and chassis grease (still a lithium complex) for u-joints??

What about their Off-Road Moly grease (a calcium sulfonate compound with 5% moly added) for the same purpose?

I already understand/know that I will have to completely and thoroughly flush out any old lithium complex type grease before going to the latter above, due to possible base oil 'clash'.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. My son uses the AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease on this Jeep Wrangle and has done a lot of off-roading on some very dusty and wet trails without having any problems. He has been using it for over two years and says it has worked very well over the previous product (Jeep dealer). I have a guy who uses it on his truck who does a fair amount of out back roading and says he wouldn't use anything else. I haven't had the opportunity of using the product, so I have to go on what these gys are telling me. Seems to work pretty good for them; I'd use it.
