Amsoil trans fluid question

After having a problem with my cavalier's steering pump,I'm wondering if I can use Amsoil transmission fluid in my '05 Corolla and '05 Explorer.
Can I use the turkey baster method,take out what I can and then fill with Amsoil fluid mixing with OEM fluids of both vehicles?
I have 2.5 qts of Amsoil just sitting on the shelf.
