Based on the recommendations from the first sample with Blackstone I kicked up
the OCI 10K miles on this first run of Amsoil. Looks like I should have extended
this one further. Plan to take this next one to at least 50K, if not longer.

Oil Analysis Vendor Comments:
Flagged data does not indicate an immediate need for maintenance action. Continue
to observe the trend and monitor equipment and fluid conditions. Zinc is slightly
high for this lubricant.

Wow, superior results with the SVG. I think I'm going to change the rear diff over to Amsoil SVG.

Love the Severe Gear Oil. Have been using it for over a decade. The 2013 Outback and 2005 Sorento are getting improved MPG with Amsoil's 75W-90.

Does the viscosity level of the Severe Gear look right? Blackstone was showing a range of 12.2-15.8 for 75-90W.

?? Blackstone sometimes.....is just goofy.

Correct range is 13.5-18.5.

I'd put SVG in and then not even touch it (except to verify the level occasionally) for 100k miles.

Why use an expensive syn and dump it so soon? SVG is one of Amsoil's better products, and can EASILY handle ultra long OCIs as long as they don't get immersed in water.

^^^What he said.

Once you do an initial change to get the break in debris out then let her rip. No need to change it at all under 100k miles or even more as long as you don't regularly submerge her!
