Amsoil Suction Pump & Blackstone Sample Bottles (not a good combo?)

Every time I use a Blackstone sample bottle in conjunction with the Amsoil oil sampling pump, the bottle ends up getting crushed by the vacuum created inside the bottle. After a few pumps the bottle just shrivels up in to a raisin which makes it pretty dam hard to take a sample.

I'm I doing something wrong here or is the pump not working right?

If this is typical of this combo, this is not good news for me as I was planning on doing the same thing.
