Perhaps this can’t be answered but I was just looking over the Amsoil site and wondering, as an example, if anyone knows the significant difference between SS 5w30 and Euro 5w30?
Looking at numbers and certifications it appears the 5w30 Euro has better certs, they have similar pour points but the SS has better flash point and NOACK. I’m assuming the EURO has lower SA?
Are these oils essentially interchangeable in most people’s minds or does one really stand out compared to the other based on base oil, etc?
