I was comparing 2019 Jeep CHEROKEE and 2019 Honda Odyssey EX which both have the ZF 9 speed transmission.

I still didn't see two recommendations for ATF for the 2019 Cherokee - and I tried all three engines. Where are you seeing both ATL and ATF recommended?

Yes I did see nothing recommended for the Honda use, the Q5NZ9. I have requested a change.

The 10 speed PMXA calls for ATF

Ah yes - Yes two different tier products, not ATF and ATL. Both are relatively low vis, OTL has less esters and less expensive base oils than ATL.

This was the response from my email to Amsoil.

"They may be similar, but they are not the same models, and they call for different fluid specifications. We recommended oils that satisfy the OEM specifications. If we do not have an oil that satisfies the OEM specifications, we will not make a recommendation."

Basically AMSOIL does not cover the Acura/Honda ATF Type 3.1 transmission fluid specification that Honda calls for.
