Hello everyone. Car has 110k kms on it. It is a turbo charged engine. I am running a Toyota factory filter from the MR2 turbo (same engine). Oil has been sitting in the car for 5 years and has 15k kms on it. Car was primarily on the highway and driven fairly conservatively with a few hard accelerations here and there. Driven year round in central Alberta. Lost 1/2 a liter. Curious what you guys think. Thanks!

Without even reviewing the UOA I'm in lust, pics unseen of your Celica GT! I wanted one of those when I was in HS. If you have time, pics would be awesome!

I think the oil report looks good... Still in grade which is what you want to see. Fuel percentage is a little high but it is not affecting oil viscosity a whole lot. Good deal it isn't dropping it a great deal.

It's good for these conditions, but I'd not run so long. TBN/TAN could be interesting.

I like that laboratory report.

I did not know I had to pay extra for the TBN. Will inquire about it next time I take a sample in. Yeah its a pretty neat system they got set up.
Tin at 2 🧐
I'd keep the intervals shorter, maybe with a cheaper oil like M1 or Castrol 0W40.
Is tin bad? I plan to swap the new oil out at a year.

I'd personally change it once a year with an OTC 0w40 or 5w40. I think the results here are not that great. Oil has sheared to mid 30 weight, iron is higher than 4ppm/1K miles, copper and lead are both seen, which could indicate cylinder bore wear (Iron) and bearing wear (copper, lead).

I thought I had amended/changed this and I guess it didn't take...

It's a 30 grade operation viscosity which makes sense to the fuel cutting the oil viscosity. Nothing super terrible.

Certainly would not go 7 years... No way no how.

I would change the oil every year... If for no other reason than getting rid of possible condensation in the oil and fuel being in the oil that long is not all that good either.

If you run the car hard when you run it.... Aka tracking the car.... Road course racing even drag runs... Definitely would change it every year before taking the car out to run very hard.

I echo these comments, and would add that Si seems something to watch for also. Double check there's no intake tract leak.

Not a terrible showing, but nothing to get excited about.
