I recently had an individual call me to order some Amsoil Saber Professional for his passenger car. He swore it dramatically improved his fuel mileage, and started using on the recommendation of the shop he goes to. Has anyone else experienced/tested this product in a gasoline powered passenger car?

There has been much discussion about this, both here and elsewhere on the web. Most are using the TCW-3 oils.

I doubt this is helpful for mileage gains, and only marginally helpful in other aspects, if at all.

To me, this is just a fad that will pass in time. But ya never know, I've been wrong before :)

Do a search for sarge + 2-cycle oil in gas...here, I did it for you.

A local talk show from Orlando, Larry Perry, The Magic Mechanic, claims Amsoil Saber Outboard, one ounce for five gallons of gas will increase mileage and help offset the negative effect of alcohol fuel.
I just started using the Amsoil Saber Professional, only because I have it in stock, but have not yet checked mileage. A little added upper cylinder lubrication is also a plus.
