I was perusing the Amsoil site last night and noticed that they don't have a "reccomendation" for my truck's transfer case. Most all of the new GM transfer cases use ATF, right? I have a 2005 Silverado with the AutoTrac transfer case (NP/NVG 246). Any ideas? Why would there be no reccomendation? Thanks in advance for any help!

Because it's a special GM lube. There have been several threads about this. Unfortunately Amsoil does not make a replacement.

Q. What does AMSOIL have to replace GM Auto Trak II fluid?
A. There is little to no information available on the lubrication requirements of transfer cases calling for Auto Trak II. At this point, AMSOIL is not making a product recommendation for this application. AMSOIL is continuing research on this application in an effort to come out with a product recommendation. However our Drive train Fluids expert is looking into the performance demands of this fluid and to develop an AMSOIL product.
