There is also the PurePower filter and System 1 and others. These filters are different because the media does not have an average micron rating like non-metalic filters, they use an absolute rating. Also, because they flow so much more they may go on bypass so infrequently that one filter, the UltraFilter does not have a bypass valve. This is because the stainless steel element won't crush, like non-metalic elements. You can also see the inside of the filter every time you clean it, good entertainment for an oil geek.
