Hi:
I have used Amsoil Series 2000 oil and Dual Remote system on a 99 Ford Explorer for 7 years now. The motor has been the only reliable part on the truck - which I attribute to the oil and filtration system.
My wife recently purchased a 2007 Honda CRV and it's been changed over to Series 2000 oil and Amsoil filter. I am considering putting a Amsoil Dual Remote on the CRV. The issue is that there is very little available space in which to mount the filters. I have however found an area under the vehicle that with some skilled fabrication of mounts (and protective plate to guard against road debris) that I can mount the Dual Remote Assembly.
The length of the hoses will be less than 3 feet. Which should be OK.
The issue I have is that the filters will be horizontal. Is this OK?
On the Explorer I am using an SDF 26 and BE-100 filter. I would like to use these two filter on the CRV too. Are there any issues I should be aware of?
Thanks
Doug
