APD...

Fixing to work on mount this weekend, I think I am going to make a 'L' bracket with a removable angle bracket so the wiring harness can be moved in and secured, I do not want anything to stretch or rub...btw what are the hole locations for your bracket? should be same as OB1305 but check before I drill

APD..

Here is the final bracket, like I said in pm I made numerous and they were busy and over built. I went to hardware store and bought:
2- m10-1.5x25 cap screws for base into block
2 - 10 mm flat washers
2 - 10 mm split washers
used front two hole (see picture) and was able to just manipulate cable clamp

On filter base I used:
3 - M8-1.25x30 cap screws
6 - 8 mm flat washers
3 - 8 mm wave lock washers
3 - m8-1.25 nylon class B nuts

Red lock tight and breaker bar tight. There is enough room to add another 5 or inches in filter and I made bracket so housing will fit (when installed) right under dipstick with no blockage.

I am going to run filter filled with grease (drilled center and forced in as much as possible using zirk fitting) to make sure there are no issues with bracket or setup..

Like I said my skills are not as good as used to be...took me all day to do two of these... But for price so far I am looking at..
Bracket $15
Base $25
Filter $5
Amsoil swivel - $9
Stant #1111 cap $11

I think I am going to run stainless lines, there are cable holders on fan shroud (on top) and I may gauge hose to fit snug and cable tie in place for a neater look?

Nice setup,another question or two...

1. How long do you run your by-pass filter before changing?
2. Are you running Amsoil oil?
3. Ever done any testing on your oil to confirm filtering?

just a quick quiz
