Had the upper intake manifold off this round to replace the oil pressure sensor, and just cleaned the K&N after getting this report (it was pretty dirty). Hoping those two are contributors for the jump in silicon

Blackstone comments:
Aluminum, chrome, and iron, have all bumped up in this latest report, maybe showing just a touch more cylinder-wear than usual for this engine. Nothing to be too concerned about rhough, more just something to monitor. The increases (on some level) are due to this being the longest oil run yet. We're a little more wary of silicon's source this time. It increased a little and if it's from dirt getting by the air filter it could be the reason for the slightly elevated wear-rate levels this time. Check for air filter/intake issues. The TBN is getting low at 2.0; stick to 12K miles.

Metal traces appear to be at aceptable levels with exception of Si as Blackstone pointed out. Check air intake system, oil filter plugging, filter cap and or breather and valve cover.

84% drop in TBN from virgin 12.5 is alarming and one wonder if there's sufficient alkalinity reserve left to fight acid. Without knowing TAN it's hard to judge but drop of around 60% would cause me to do OC.

We all know here that TBN can plummet at any time during the oci and we also know it's not linear. 2.0 is still a passing grade so who knows maybe he could ride it out to 15k even. Regardless, it still looks good after 12k so it were me I'd go for 13.5k.
