The quote says it's a multi-viscosity oil.
Anyone else have a clue why this oil is different than other 10w30's?
Thanks
I'm not sure why, but no one has addressed another big difference in the ASE/ACD 30/10W-30 from other synthetic starburst 10w30's such as Mobil 1 or Amsoil's ATM. I'm thinking that ASE/ACD would have higher anti-wear adds such as the ZDDP type that would be beneficial to these hard-working engines, vs energy-conserving, low SAPS starburst-type oils with lower viscosity for vehicles with catalytic converters and roller, low friction valvetrains.
