Sorry guys, I should have added that this is for a 2006 Honda Odyssey, I need to figure out how to edit the main subject line.

The fuel dilution issue seems to be a problem with this engine. It is one reason that I don't like to drag out the OCI too much. This van sees a lot of cold starts, I think that is contributing to the issue.

Yep. Seems to be very common in Honda's. I have 11,000 miles on ASM right now and I've had to add 1 qt of make up oil over that interval. I'm also 1/2qt low now. It's bc of fuel dilution. IMO. Sample should be interesting. This sample looks good. Wear is very low considering the fuel dilution you are seeing.

What did the Maintenance Minder read when you changed the oil?

Unless this Maintenance Minder detects and computes mileage variances... ie... percentages of dilution contamination, it shows perfect reason why such systems are suspect for correct readings.

OEM air filter, the factory one was changed at 16,000 miles so this one has about 18,000 miles on it at the time of the oil change.
