My Comments: Car is driven hard, prolonged
cruising at 3800-4100 rpm,early morning 85mph commute, hits 6500 redline every chance I get. Viscosity predictably high, wear levels seem excellent, though lead may be a bit high at 1ppm/1000mi, Ca, Zn, Phosphorus appear high compared to virgin Oil ananysis. 25,000 oil change intraval seems very feasible in this vechicle.

Very nice. I have never seen Nickel that high though, interesting. Depending on the engine the lead at 13ppm may be on the high side as well. Several of mine would be in the low single digits at this mileage but I have one that would be double what you show. As always, a trend is the key. I used Analysts Inc for many years. Good lab but not as user friendly or willing to discuss with users the report. Also, they have cut offs for certain wear metals and especially Si and regardless of mileage and time they will flag the result as abnormal.

Lots of highway miles on this sample which helps as well as the 2 quarts added/exchanged during the cycle. Personally, having used the 10W30 for over 10 years I would not go 25,000 miles on it, 15,000 would be it for me but you did have pretty good results.

Very good report. TBN is still high and Viscosity is fine as well for 15k miles. All is good...

Well considering the 2 quart makeup..the numbers are not quite as good as they seem. How many miles on the vehicle?? Did I miss that??

Anyway you might have a very minor coolant leak (Potassium/Sodium).

Otherwise..very good numbers. How many quarts in the crankcase?

No filter change. I assume the car used 2 qts of oil in 15,698 miles. Not that bad by many standards. Including all the car company's.

4.75 qt capacity including filter. Vechicle has 96,000 miles on it. Doubtful that there is any coolant leak, but thanks for the input.
