I run it year round in a twin turbo motor and have driven it long distance at a steady 75-80mph in 90º - 100ºF temps with no consumption and no negative engine indications.

PS, but don't you have a green elf named "SLX" in your engine bay constantly watching over everything? Not a fair comparison. Not all of us have that SLX elf.

EC, you're not nuts to run GC year round. People run 5w-20 year round and that works for them. GC is a more robust oil and would work anywhere on earth year round.

I try to be modest about that...I don't want you guys to think I'm a showoff...when he is not in my engine bay, he and his cousins make us some great cookies...
