Our 2010 Altima V6's left-front window has developed a squeak, but only when you try to roll it down in wet weather. It seems like the squeak is coming from the weatherstripping itself.

What should I spray on it to silence this annoying, high-pitched squeak?

Something with teflon or silicone?
I use some silicone spray onto a rag and wipe my window guides etc down. Always works great, windows never freeze in winter, etc.

Car wash soap. Usually it squeaks because it is very dirty. Wash your car and then roll the window up and down. It should clean it off and stop the squeak.

Tried that and it didn't work, but I'll try it again tomorrow morning.

What kind do you use? I always use Meguiars NXT or Gold Class and it will stop it. Bust out a tooth brush too and see if you can brush along the rubber contact area with the glass.

I use Chemical Guys Wash and Gloss.

Alright, it didn't work. Some people on Nissanclub are saying it may be the regulator.

So, I'll just take it to the dealer sometime in the coming weeks and see what they say.
