Anyone that knows anything about oil analysis will know that you can't make truly informed decisions based on uoa's you can have an engine dump tons of visible metal glitter yet the analysis will say 5ppm so you'll think it's all good. And not all oil analysis labs are created equal. Blackstone still can't measure fuel dilution. But the trucking and heavy industry uses them most on every oil change but it's not because they know it's infallible just better than nothing and as a waiver for wrong doing on maintenance neglect suspicions.
