I saw something on TV about this. The closer one's ancestry is to certain geographic areas of Europe, the greater the percentage of Neanderthal genetics they may possess, with percentages as high 5%. The closer to Asia and Africa one's decent is, the less Neanderthal genetic markers they possess.

I think Ive heard this all before.

In fact, was recently in the Smithsonian Natrual History museum, and they implied in one exhibit that there was intermingling and inter-burial of sapiens and neanderthal homos.

Neanderthals did not have boats and their range did not extend into Africa. So if Neanderthal genes got into African populations, they were likely carried there by Modern populations from Europe or Asia that migrated back to Africa in one form or another at later times.

I saw a Vietnamese woman with no projecting chin, just a smooth curve of jaw. The chin is a Modern feature.

It is...but it isn't. Science cannot explain the evolution of mankind. Only 1 of millions of species on the planet becomes intelligent while completely throwing off the balance of the food chain? That goes against every evolution based theory. It is quite easy to see humans stand out on this planet. Why that is, science cannot explain at this point. Humans are a "chosen" species for some reason.

The samaritans (i think they are the oldest civilization known at this time) claim humans came to be from aliens that came from the sky and genetically created the human race from existing Earth creatures. Maybe they were right or maybe they had a fantastic imagination of things they would have no concept of. We'll find out someday.

Steven Greer (hero and kook to many) claims the creature in the link below was 91% human DNA. Neanderthals are 99.9% similar to human DNA and Chimps are something like 98% similar. So he is claiming this creature is actually more different to us than we are to apes.
