All Icon wrenches 40% off

Got myself the split beam yesterday

Not a chance.

Also too I looked up the initial torque setting. It's 200nm or 147lb/ft. That's tight - but another 180 degrees is required after that.

That's where the digis are cool because they'll show you ultimate torque after moving the prescribed degrees.

However I realize most digis wouldn't work here because they'd be too short and I'd never put a cheater on a TW

I don't even want to know what the ultimate torque was because it was scary high. And because they are torque to yield, one time use, stretch bolts, when you torque the final 45 or 90 degrees you'll feel the wrench go soft, as if it's being stripped. Not a good feeling but that's the way they cinch up.

90+90 using a 1/2" digital torque wrench never had any issues...

I have done 45+45 or 90+90 on many engine rebuilds if I didn't have enough space..., it wouldn't be a problem for torque to yield bolts, my experience is strictly Toyota though, I couldn't tell you about any other brands.

I know the ones that take a 19mm allen socket work out to be about 300-325 lb.ft. I had to borrow an angle TW from a friend who does trucks. A real PITA and when the bolt head is all rusted and the hex rounds out it gets to be real fun and games removing it.

I got one too but it was available at the first store I went to, it was hidden in the back. It is a high theft item (I will never under theft...)

I wish I thought this through, would have loved to buy the Icon 3/8" impact swivel, shallow, and deep socket sets.
Ahh lucky you...the 3rd one i went to supposedly had 3 in stock but nothing on the shelf I wonder if they kept them in the back...i didn't bother to ask and drove to the next one
