so, i was listening to goss' garage this weekend. he said that all engines burn oil. ok, this statement doesn't bother me. he also said, if the oil level remains the same, its because contaminants (fuel dilution, water) are replacing the lost volume.
i can't think of a better explanation why oil level doesn't change. but that seems like quite a bit of water or fuel on a typical engine.
