My alignment is off, thanks to our foot-deep potholes. I see some abnormal tire wear. Should I get the alignment done with the abnormally worn tires, or should I wait until I have new tires? I need new tires anyway. I'll have to drive about 40 miles with the new tires before I can get the alignment done. What I mean is, does it make any difference in terms of accuracy whether the alignment is performed with the old or new tires? My car requires a Hunter machine (optical/laser system).
