Aisin AW-1 vs Toyota WS

Did a little searching and didn't come up with much. I'm assuming AW-1 and WS are different fluids, but Aisin has a fluid (ATF-0WS) that says it can replace the GM part number for AW-1. But, the front of the bottle says it's for applications that use WS.

Thoughts? Their attempt at a multi vehicle ATF?

WS stands for World Standard so one may infer that any transmission requiring WS fluid meets the same specs and therefore needs the same fluid.

I have a 13 XC60 with an Aisin warner transmission. I think Aw-1 is the same as JWS3324 which is what Toyota WS is. I would use WS or ATF-0WS which is what Aisin's website recommeneds.
