Thinking of changing my air filter in my bronco ii since it is dirty but I was thinking of switching to a K&N filter but then I heard through this board that they let a lot of dirt in the engine. Anyone have any recomendations or advice?

If you actually use your Bronco in the dirt, stick with a paper element, IMHO.
I live in oklahoma so the roads are usually dusty but I don't usually drive on dirt roads or go off roading
