I had my Air Compressor Run Capacitor tested and failed. I attached a picture of the defective capacitor below.

I have looked online and found this on eBay. Will this work?

That pic says start capacitor. Start and run are a bit different typically.

Sometimes it is better (more reliable) to purchase ones made in USA. Titan brand and American Radonic sell USA produced ones.

But that unit you linked looks identical to what you have.

I think the description of the EBAY item is incorrect. It's a START capacitor. Run capacitors are not that big in uF typically.

As long as you match the uF and voltage I think you will be fine. I would see if I could find one made in the USA.

They do not last forever.

Just to repeat: a start capacitor is different than a run capacitor. A Google search will explain. Replace your capacitor with a similar one.

Yes, the rating is the same. It may be a different diameter and not match the mounting bracket, but it is functionally the same and will work.
People aren't looking at the the picture of your failed one and getting wrapped around a word.
