I need to replace this hose. It was too short and cracked on both ends. I wrapped it with emergency heater/radiator hose tape for now and used hose clamps to secure it, but in the long run it should be replaced. I think plain old heater hose would work though there is a 1.5" off set between the two ends. However there is what seems like a restrictor in the engine side of the hose (see upper left inset photo). I don't see that the restrictor matters though. Should I just put in a length of heater hose? Actually it may function fine as is for many years, eh? Also the right side of the hose connects to a box that is second in line from the air filter box. The air flow is below the stuff in my picture. The hose in question is behind the throttle body. Not sure where it goes to on the engine side but the intake manifold must be on the back side as the exhaust manifold is on the front side.
