Ads all over page

I havent been on bitog in a few months. I usually view it on my phone. I just hopped back in and was surprised to see ads constantly popping up on the bottom of the page and large ads as you scroll up and down through the topics. This site used to be so nice without all the popups. Now its turning into all the other automotive forums that have ads. Ugh. Also notice my phone getting warm because of the ads.

Actually i just noticed now that im logged in there are no ads. There must have been ads in the past that i never noticed because im always logged in.

Were the ads present before you logged in? Did the ads reduce after you logged in?

yes. Before i logged in they were present. I didn’t remember them being there before. I had been away for so long i was not auto logged in. Once i logged in after i posted i noticed the ads were gone.

It is very admirable for BITOG to provide ad free content for every single member of BITOG as long as the member is logged in

I am not aware of other forums that provide ad free viewing for members. I am sure there are some, but every automotive forum I am a member of the include ford, Mercedes, Acura, Lexus all bombard me with ads when I visit those forums.

I have no idea why BITOG is ad free for it's logged in members, but I sure am grateful for it.
