So I go to update my Adobe Acrobat Reader today, and it's now called the "Acrobat Reader DC" ... DC = "Document Cloud".

It's TOTALLY changed and I don't like it much - has that messed up Win 8.1 look to it. Why can't they leave stuff alone and not redesign it all the time? I guess I could uninstall and go find an older version of the reader to download. I get sick and tired of always dealing with software revamps all the time. Get to know how to use a version well and then they mix it all up again. Guess I'll get use to it with some time, but dang, does it ever end?

That seems to be a problem everywhere. I think it's folks in the office trying to make themselves seem important. "What if we did..."

I had the update too. I uninstalled it. I don't need most of the features that Adobe offers and don't really care for the "cloud."

Adobe must be following in Microsoft's footsteps with all the useless changes.

I found I could download Adobe Reader right from Adobe in version 11.0.10. Then I found this page on Adobe's website with all the updates. I assume I would have to load each on in order, or maybe the 11.0.15 update has all the previous updates also? I'm also thinking of uninstalling the Document Cloud reader and going back to the old version.
